The objective of the race

To run a distance that is slightly more than a marathon.

The planned course of the race, planned part distances and relay points

• 17 March 2011 46.8 km Siófok - Fonyód
• 18 March 2011 52.9 km Fonyód - Szigliget
• 19 March 2011 43.1 km Badacsony - Balatonfüred
• 20 March 2011 51.7 km Balatonfüred - Siófok

The exact course and the length of the individual part distances might still change!

Time limit

• 1st day: 5 hours 45 minutes
• 2nd day: for individuals 7 hours, for relays 6 hours 30 minutes

There will be sub-time limits at the changing points.

The runner who does not finish within the time limit can start the next day as well but among the distances his/her name will appear without placement, only indicating the distance accomplished.

Start places and times, finish places

• 1st day: 6 hours
• 2nd day: 7 hours
• 3rd day: 5 hours 45 minutes
• 4th day: for individuals 7 hours, for relays 6 hours 30 minutes

There will be sub-time limits at the changing points.

Organisation of the race

• The course will be designated on the bicycle road around Balaton, taking into account its characteristics. Where the course requires (in train crossings and when crossing roads) there will be special road security.
• The team members can decide freely about the daily distances but half an hour before the daily start it is necessary to hand in the team's composition for the present day.
• All members of the running groups accomplish 3 part distances thus each group member will have one rest day.
• On the relay points we provide changing possibilities and refreshment for the group members.
• During the course between relay points there will refreshment points, usually 2, on the shorter distances only 1 but the teams can provide individual refreshments to the member on the course.
• We can accept only those teams which are able to solve the transportation of their team members with their own car.
• For individual runners we suggest they take their mobile phones with them.

Entry fees

Amount is determined by the date of payment!

Entry fees after the date of 5 September will be published later.

The registration fee contains

Start package (sports clothing, guide of the race, presents of the sponsors), refreshment, medical service, medal, massage after the race.

Other information regarding registration

Should the first member of the team start also individually we do not charge the team member the part of the team fee of his/her part but they only get the service of the individual runners.

Refreshment stations

• at the start, at the finish, at the relay points
• on the course, on the part distances depending on the distance of the course at 1 or 2 places

Changing rooms, safekeeping

In the tents set up at the start, at the finish and at the relay points

For the individual runners we transport their bags which they handed over at the start to the finish line.
